Prerequisites & Requirements
ADAS Calibration Prerequisites
To ensure accurate and efficient ADAS calibration, please review these requirements before your appointment. Proper preparation helps us deliver the best possible service.
Requirement Types
Clean Vehicle
Ensure your vehicle is clean, especially around sensors, cameras, and radar units. Dirt, snow, or ice can interfere with calibration accuracy.
Adequate Fuel Level
Vehicle should have at least 1/4 tank of fuel to maintain proper weight distribution during calibration. This ensures accurate sensor positioning.
Correct Tire Pressure
All tires must be inflated to manufacturer specifications. Incorrect tire pressure can affect vehicle ride height and sensor angles.
Proper Wheel Alignment
Vehicle tracking/alignment must be correct before ADAS calibration. We can arrange wheel alignment services if needed.
No Structural Damage
Ensure there's no unrepaired structural damage that could affect sensor positioning or vehicle geometry.
Vehicle Documentation
Bring your V5C registration document, insurance details, and any service history related to ADAS systems.
Good Battery Condition
Vehicle battery should be in good condition with stable voltage. Calibration requires consistent power supply to electronic systems.
No Active Fault Codes
Ideally, there should be no active fault codes in the ADAS systems. We can diagnose and clear codes as part of our service.
Allow Sufficient Time
Calibration typically takes 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the systems involved. Plan your day accordingly.
